May is National Lyme Awareness Month-something that I am very passionate about.
•
How can we help resistant Lyme and chronic disease nutritionally?
•
Lyme disease is a multisystemic illness. Many of my clients present with a constellation of different symptoms. Most often than not showing as migrating pain associated with fibromyalgia, autoimmune illnesses, arthritis, migraines, joint pain, and stiffness.
•
In my clinic, we beat the bite by addressing the symptoms. Chronic use of antibiotics (commonly seen with my chronically ill Lyme clients) is associated with high levels of inflammation and gut dysbiosis. Thus, we look at the whole picture and address the allostatic load.
•
We run the following tests:
Vitamin testing
Oxidative Stress/Mitochondrial Evaluation
Immune Markers
Rheumatology Panel
Food Allergy/Sensitivity Panel
•
Make sure you have the right team of health-care professionals on your side.
